Julia has a passion for both the repertoire and demands of high level chamber music playing, including chamber ensembles such as quartet, through to chamber orchestra. Julia has performed for the past 8 years with Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, including holding concertmaster position for soloist Shaun Lee Chen, along with annual concerts with Dutch soloist Rudolf Koleman.
Highlights of chamber works have included performances with WAAPA's leading ensemble Indian Ocean Ensemble including performances of Drovrak's Quartet 'American', Golijov for solo clarinet and quartet, Shostakovich Octet, solo and tutti for Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Piazolla's Four Seasons and much more.
Julia plays regularly with Australian Baroque as tutti and soloist, performing on period instruments with a historically informed performance focus. Concerts including Bach + Beer for Fringe 2020, Vivaldi in the Vines and A Feast of Bach, the culmination of Summer Early Music Festival under the guidance of Catherine Macintosh (Orch. Age Enlightenment, Academy Ancient Music, English Consort).
